Oracle Roving Edge Infrastructure is an infrastructure service designed to host workloads and use instances running at the edge, especially the remote edge and the tactical edge. It is designed to work as an extension of the Oracle Cloud client. It consists of a cloud service and physical edge hardware that can be used individually or in clusters to enable you to run cloud IaaS services and workloads outside of the cloud data center where data is created and consumed. Infrastructure services provided by Roving Edge include compute virtual machines, object storage, block storage, and virtual networking.
